Terms of Service

Knotchat is exclusively for adults aged 18 and older.

You must be at least 18 years old to access or use the Service. We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy toward minors: anyone under 18 is prohibited from accessing or using the Service in any manner. If we become aware of an account belonging to, or content involving, a person under 18, we will immediately terminate the account and delete associated data. We cooperate with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement in any matter involving the exploitation of minors.

Registration is mandatory to use Knotchat services.

You must register for an account to access our Service. Registration requires only an email address and password. The process takes approximately 30 seconds and helps us maintain a safe environment.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You agree to accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
• You may not use another user's account without permission
• You may not create multiple accounts for abusive purposes

You may use Knotchat to:

• Engage in anonymous conversations with other users
• Share ideas, opinions, and experiences respectfully
• Make new connections from around the world
• Practice languages and cultural exchange
• Participate in the community respectfully

You agree NOT to:

• Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Share explicit, pornographic, or sexually inappropriate content
• Engage in or promote any illegal activity, including prostitution, sex trafficking, solicitation, or drug-related transactions
• Share personal information of yourself or others
• Spam, advertise, solicit, or direct users to other platforms (such as Telegram, Snapchat, or WhatsApp) to conduct prohibited or illegal activity
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Use automated bots or scripts to access the Service
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage the Service
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Encourage or enable others to violate these Terms

While chatting on Knotchat, you must ensure your content:

• Is respectful and appropriate for all audiences
• Does not contain hate speech or discriminatory language
• Does not promote violence or self-harm
• Does not violate intellectual property rights
• Complies with all applicable laws

Knotchat offers optional paid VIP and SVIP access with additional features. By making a purchase:

• You agree to pay the price shown for the access you select, plus any applicable taxes
• All purchases are one-time payments for a fixed access period; there is no automatic renewal or recurring charge
• Paid access activates immediately upon purchase and ends automatically when the period expires
• All purchases are final and non-refundable once activated, except as described in our Refund Policy

• Prices are shown in your applicable currency (USD by default)
• Payments are processed securely through third-party providers including Stripe, PayPal, and Airwallex
• You authorize us and our payment providers to charge your selected payment method
• You are responsible for all applicable taxes

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Weiwen Network Technology Co., Limited and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you create. However, by using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content solely for operating and improving the Service.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide about the Service become our property and may be used without compensation or attribution to you.

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any content shared by users.

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. We are not liable for the conduct of any user. Use caution and good judgment when interacting with strangers online.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Weiwen Network Technology Co., Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@knot.chat or through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if:

• You breach these Terms of Service
• You violate our community guidelines
• Your conduct harms other users or the Service
• We are required to do so by law

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your account and any associated data. Provisions of these Terms that should survive termination will remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, except where prohibited by applicable law.

You agree to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis and waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Knotchat regarding the Service.

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

We may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction. You may not assign or transfer any rights under these Terms without our prior written consent.
